Popular Quran Courses for Kiwi Families
Students taking online Quran classes in New Zealand can study Noorani Qaida, Nazra Quran, Hifz memorization, Tajweed and Islamic studies, all taught 1-on-1. Kids usually start with Qaida from age 4 or 5, adults can begin from zero, and new Muslims get a dedicated essentials course.
Noorani Qaida: Arabic letters, sounds and joining rules for young beginners in short, engaging lessons.
Nazra Quran: fluent reading of the full Quran with every verse corrected by the tutor.
Hifz program: memorization with a certified Hafiz, daily new lessons plus revision of earlier ones.
Tajweed and Islamic studies: rules of beautiful recitation, plus duas, salah, seerah and basic fiqh. A level check in the trial places every student correctly.
Class Timings on New Zealand Time
Our online Quran classes run on New Zealand time across all regions, NZST in winter and NZDT in summer, with your slot fixed in local time. Most Kiwi families choose weekday evenings after school, with weekend mornings also popular. You pick the days and times and can change them later.
Daylight saving shifts are handled automatically, so your booking never needs recalculating. Evening slots between 4 pm and 9 pm are the most popular nationwide.
