Ijazah Certification Program Online

For over 1400 years, the Quran has been passed from teacher to student in unbroken chains. An Ijazah makes you part of that chain. When a Sheikh grants you Ijazah, they certify that your recitation meets the standard transmitted through generations, and they authorize you to teach others.

In our online program, you recite the complete Quran to your Sheikh in private live classes, section by section. Your Sheikh corrects every detail, tests your retention, and when your recitation is flawless throughout, grants you the Ijazah with your personal Sanad document.

By the end of this program, you will be able to:

• 1. Recite the full Quran flawlessly, every verse with precise Tajweed from Al-Fatiha to An-Nas.
• 2. Apply the finest Tajweed details, including Sifaat, advanced Waqf, and rare rulings, without a single error.
• 3. Demonstrate complete retention, reciting any requested passage accurately on demand.
• 4. Understand your Qiraah's rules, knowing the principles of the recitation mode you were certified in.
• 5. Teach with authority, holding the certification to transmit the Quran to your own students.
• 6. Hold your Sanad document, your written chain of transmission linking you to the Prophet, peace be upon him.

The final examination is a complete recitation review before the Ijazah is granted.

The Ijazah program is right for you if:

• You recite fluently with strong, tested Tajweed and want the highest certification.
• You are a Hafiz or Hafiza with solid memorization and precise recitation.
• You are an Imam or Quran teacher who wants formal authorization to teach.
• You completed our Tajweed Mastery course and your tutor recommended Ijazah.
• You dream of joining the unbroken chain of Quran transmission.

Readiness is confirmed through a recitation assessment in your free trial. If you need preparation, our Tajweed courses will get you there first.

Only someone holding Ijazah can grant Ijazah. Our Sheikhs meet this noble standard:

• Certified Ijazah holders with verified, unbroken chains of transmission.
• Master reciters whose own Tajweed has been tested by their teachers.
• Experienced mentors, having guided previous students through full Ijazah recitations.
• Patient and demanding in balance, pushing you to perfection while supporting you through the long journey.
• Background-checked, with male and female certified teachers available.

In your free trial, recite to a Sheikh and receive an honest assessment of your readiness and a personal preparation plan.

Here is how your Ijazah journey progresses:

• Live private sessions with your Sheikh at times you choose.
• Systematic full-Quran recitation, typically one Juz or more per week depending on your pace.
• Detailed correction of every Tajweed detail in your recitation.
• Retention testing, where your Sheikh asks for random passages to confirm mastery.
• Monthly progress reviews tracking Juz completed and accuracy rates.

Most students take 3 to 5 classes per week. The journey usually takes 1 to 2 years, and your Sheikh adjusts the pace to keep quality perfect throughout.

An Ijazah opens meaningful doors:

• Teach the Quran with formal authorization, in your masjid, community, or online.
• Ten Qiraat Ijazah: earn certifications in additional modes of recitation.
• Lead prayers with the confidence of certified, flawless recitation.
• Mentor future students, guiding others toward their own Ijazah as your Sheikh guided you.

Many of our Ijazah graduates continue studying with their Sheikh for years, deepening their mastery and beginning to grant Ijazah to their own students.
