Quran Classes for Families Across Christchurch
NoorQuran Academy brings live 1-on-1 online Quran classes to families across Christchurch, including Riccarton, Hornby, Addington, Linwood and Spreydon. A qualified male or female tutor teaches at your chosen time on NZ time, with evening classes after school and monthly progress reports for parents.
Christchurch families often find that local Quran learning means crowded weekend schools or long waits. Online 1-on-1 classes change that: your child gets a dedicated tutor, private lessons, and a schedule built around your family.
All you need is a phone, tablet or laptop and internet. We help with the simple setup before the first trial class.
Courses for Kids and Adults in Christchurch
In online Quran classes, Christchurch students study Noorani Qaida for young beginners, Nazra Quran for fluent reading, Hifz memorization with a certified Hafiz, Tajweed for advanced recitation, and Islamic studies for kids and new Muslims. Every course is 1-on-1 with a personal plan.
Noorani Qaida: Arabic letters, sounds and joining for children from age 4 or 5.
Nazra and Hifz: full Quran reading with every verse corrected, or memorization combining new lessons with daily revision.
Tajweed and Islamic studies: recitation rules for advanced readers, plus salah, duas and seerah for kids and new Muslims. Level checks in the trial ensure the right starting point.
Class Timings That Fit Christchurch Family Life
Our online Quran classes in Christchurch follow New Zealand time, NZST in winter and NZDT in summer, with your slot fixed in local time. Most families choose weekday evenings after school, and weekend mornings are available too. You pick the days and times.
South Island evenings are quiet, and learning from home fits that rhythm. Book 5 pm Tuesdays and it stays 5 pm Tuesdays all year, with daylight saving handled for you.
School holidays and family travel are easy to work around: just tell us ahead and we will pause or reschedule.
Qualified Male and Female Tutors
Our online Quran tutors serving Christchurch are qualified men and women, including Huffaz, Qaris and Ijazah holders, all background-checked for online classes. Request a male or female Quran teacher, and if the match is not right for the classes, we assign a new tutor fast at no extra cost.
Our tutors are chosen for knowledge and kindness, keeping young learners engaged and encouraged through every live lesson.
Parents get monthly progress reports, so you always know what your child has memorized, read or improved.
